I am based in the US and my parents were born in China. You’re correct that Asian does much more typically mean Chinese/Japanese here in the States and a neighborhood with a lot of folks of Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi etc. descent would be called “Indian.” I think part of it is due to historical immigration trends -

Regardless of whether you find him attractive you have to admit he doesn’t look 56!!!

What I took away from your comment: He’s FIFTY SIX? Damn the genes are strong in that one ;-).

I would love to see if this would be considered shade by Shade Court. I’m thinking for this latest comment yes, but not the earlier ones???

The other thing you’re missing out on is offering consistent and reliable schedules. Lots of retail and food service companies are now using scheduling software that means people are asked to come in whenever things are busy, and can also get sent home before a full shift if things slow down. This makes it impossible

Appropriate sample sizes vary significantly based on what you are asking and what you want to do with the data. For example, if you wanted to measure what websites people are going to in the US, you might get some useful results for very large sites with 500 people but it will be completely meaningless when it comes

Uh, how about anyone who is a member of an Equinox in NYC? The gyms are all focused in Manhattan, a place where just 10% of the population voted for Trump. And there’s also a large gay membership for Equinox including many people I know who have spent large amounts of time and money on organizations and candidates

I’m not going to give that commenter a reply, but wanted to provide some context around this. I have family in China including a cousin in her early 60s who loves to eat and always orders way more food than we can finish. It’s because during some very difficult times in China’s past they frequently went hungry, with

Indeed. There was a viral story a couple years back about a kid who WENT ONSTAGE AT A BROADWAY PLAY and plugged his phone into an outlet - which was not even working, it was just part of the set dressing! He claimed to be somewhat drunk at the time but I have my doubts. . .

Any decent real estate agent is going to make you hide all that stuff or put it in storage, even for a basic middle-class home. Something that just looks like a normal house in person can seem borderline hoarder in photos so they make you put it all away. I put my little two-bedroom condo up for sale last year and had

To be fair, a lot of people just get ebooks now. I actually read way more now that I can just borrow books from the library on my phone (it’s not uncommon for me to read 3-4 books in a week) but I hardly ever buy any physical books now. That being said, something tells me Jax and Brittany are not big Kindle people

Seriously, it’s like Pottery Barn had sex with Restoration Hardware and this is the baby. BOOOOO-RING.

In some cases people traveling for business don’t pay their airfares directly - something very similar to the above story happened to me via my company’s travel system, where they pay for the flights.

Ugh, this happened to me. I booked a business trip through my company travel system - flights get approved and then paid for by the company so I’m not charged directly. The problem this time is that my original approver (who was not someone I reported to, no idea why he was approving me to begin with) got laid off.

Also if he is found guilty that will pave the way for his dozens (if not hundreds) of victims to drain him dry in civil suits. Suicide is too easy for this guy!!!

In this case i think it’s actually more likely that SHE bangs an intern (or, even more likely, some world-famous movie star) and he either overlooks it or bails out. ScarJo has stated in the past that she has problems with monogamy and there were numerous blind items that she was ordering in room service with Chris

I like it too, but the design will unfortunately make it very difficult to be stable on the hand. It’s going to spin around constantly and catch on things. I would guess she will not end up wearing it except for fancy occasions and will get a fancy band to wear daily instead after she gets married. . .

And these are all scenarios where at least they LET you change a flight for an exhorbitant fee! The OP is talking about a class of fare where you cannot change your flight for any amount of money. The super-cheap fares from airlines like United and American are just not worth getting for reasons exactly like this.

OMG - and “energy of a tired snail returning home from a funeral”? This makes me want to start watching New Zealand’s version of CSPAN!
