You ain’t hangin around enough good ol boys.

I wish people would talk about this more.  All I see today is repeats of stuff from when I was a kid, bullies allowed to run around unchecked but when the victim decides they’ve had enough suddenly they’re the problem and there needs to be a dialogue to hear both sides.

Why is Dolores so bad this season? Performance? Writing? I can’t figure it out. She was incredible throughout S1 and now she’s the worst part of the show.

Oh thank goodness. With Iron Fist being not great, defenders being ok, and JJ’s plots feeling overly drawn out, I was starting to get worried. I loved Luke Cage season 1 though so I should’ve trusted in their team. Still, I’m glad to hear it’s good.

This show really taught me not to judge a book by its cover. I saw the description of the show On Demand last year and thought “well this sounds terrible” but my husband wanted to check it out. I’m so glad I did because by the end of the second episode we were both hooked. It’s funny and smart and I love the whole

Anthony Bourdain made me appreciate street food whenever I travel overseas.

This is actually why I think the flashback story was incredibly important for the episode, the story of the Waterfords using “free speech” to push their agenda into the mainstream, the silencing of Ofglen, and Ofglen’s use of violent speech all weave together to tell a more complete story and a less disjointed read

It’s actually more accurate than most time travel shows, to the point that The Smithsonian has been reviewing the episodes all season

I live in one of the safest towns in the US, last murder/killing was in 2009 IIRC. I am a combat veteran who owns several guns and I don’t open the door to people I don’t know, especially at night. Yes we have a security system with cameras etc (who doesn’t in this day and age) so I can see who is on the porch still

Link? I don’t see a single one of those things in the comments.

This has all the makings of some great man-boy erotica.

He devotes quite a few of them to it, and even more to the important life lessons he learned at the side of grocery store manager Harry Howell, who managed a high-school-aged James Comey with “with compassion and understanding.”

Power imbalance was the only real issue. It’s very difficult to have a truly consenting relationship with your boss. Maybe impossible when he’s the leader of the free world.

And fast forward to today, and not only do we have a President that’s slept with porn stars while married, the First Lady has erotic photos of her, some of which are with other women.

I still remember being in an internship in my 20s, and the intern manager was a woman in her mid 40s. This was in 2001, and I walked into a conversation where she (a staunch GOPer) said something like “I don’t understand why anyone finds Bill Clinton attractive. I just don’t” while all the while shifting around
