I think I liked this show better when they were still trying to figure out who some of these people were. Now Audrey and William are just eeeeeevil. Audrey's black eyeliner even got heavier the more she became Malevolent Mara (or maybe that's just me, or maybe it's part of the CG budget).

This does reset the prophecy about ending the Troubles once and for all. She (now as Mara) has to kill the one she loves the most (now William rather than Nathan).
