Unless you’re stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson AZ for 5.5yrs... it’s pretty much all you see besides EC-130’s. The A-10’s loved to buzz the crap out of the dorms.... Their so flipping quite and slow sometimes you’d be outside then “oh crap! there’s an A-10!”. Now I’m at Nellis and it’s soooo LOUD!!!!

Your argument falls apart when you look at the number of aircraft in question:

the USAF just sent a dozen A-10s to Turkey to fly against ISIS. I’d be willing to bet your next paycheck that the USAF would NEVER sent a dozen F-35s, or even one F-35, in the CAS role of an ally/customer.

Complaining, this is a real issue.

For new build all-up F-16V I have heard is less than half the cost of an F-35. Upgrade kit much less.
