Pretty cool for a home-built transport vehicle. Keep on trying new things you crazy Canadian!
Lots of lakes in the area. If you're a bass fisherman it's worth the trip.
Exactly, if anyone would have proven we were lying, it would have been China on this last go around. They proved their mission was successful by finding OUR stuff up there! Their logic wasn’t to prove we didn’t go there, it was to say “See, we can get here too, we took pictures of your stuff.”
Hey, I actually went to that. It was a fun time. You should be proud of your town, they did a nice job.
I’d pay money to see Buzz Aldrin deck Vladimir Markin.
Times have changed, and so has the gun market. I wish I could have bought up S&W revolvers, SKSs, K31s, and Chinese AKs for cheap in the 90s, but I don’t think anyone would have sold them to an elementary school kid. I really missed out.
Also, funny that you mention the Hi-Power - I bought one when I turned 21 five…
While that’s true, legitimate Russian SKS’s are cheaper than the Norincos in Canada. Marstar is selling Tulas for $200 (they’re $500+ in the US) and Norincos for $300 (currently out of stock - usually $350-$400 in the US). SVT-40s can be had as cheap as $300.
Two words: dark matter.
It’s via the browser, I only had a 5 minute loss of coverage not too bad considering I streamed it for 24 hours. Also I was able to use multiple tabs and multiple computers to access the feed, at one point I was watching 4 feeds simultaneously.
The FIA WEC app has it available for $9.99. I’ve watched the last 22 hours on it. I watched the first few hours on Fox so I could pause the TV as I was was getting my breakfast and waking up to start the 24. The WEC app feed has been perfect. Best $9.99 i’ve spent in a while.
Americans don’t buy Corvettes? And there may be one or two Americans who have heard of Patrick Dempsey.
seriously. I shouldn’t need a degree in IS/IT to figure out how to get their damn app to work.
Pay ten bucks for this race or the $50 fee or whatever for the whole year and stop wasting money with Fox/cable. Why anyone wastes money on cable is beyond me, it's nowhere near worth it and it's a super shitty deal no matter who you have. The quite literally perfect alternative is there, use it.
Fox Sports Go listed all day coverage in-app, and then suddenly cut the feed at quarter to noon Eastern! Rage and hate my boy, rage and hate.
I built a PC for the first time during the 2008 race. It was also my first successful attempt to watch the whole race. It was an excellent use of time, and I had the OS installed in time to watch the race get really interesting when the rain fell. Also going the FIAWEC stream route, and I’ve heard I can Chromecast it…
While technically still true, this sure conflicts with the announcement that Fox Sports would be airing the entire WEC. They broadcast Silverstone and Spa in their entirety IIRC but the biggest race of the season (IMO the most important race of the year) is preempted by women chasing a ball around...ugh.
