I do hope to be at the 1st manned launch of Orion, I’m sure it will be amazing. I went to the final launch of Discovery, it was quite a thrill. I REALLY hope I can see Block2 lift off! At just a few feet shorter than a Saturn it will surely be a sight to see. When you look at the VAB you can really get a great scale

I SOOOOOO wish we had gotten/ could get the Clio, here in Merica!!!

It is like someone at Jalopnik has a camera aimed at my computer. I was just looking at this thing on Fleabay the other day..... now, pardon me while I go searching for the camera

GOOD FOR JAPAN!!!!

just trying to look out for ya here Stan :)

WOW, bigger (or is it larger?) than Avatar, that grossed a gozillion dollars. A girlie movie about love and well Dances With Wolves with blue people? Just tell me this one doesn't have a 100 mile runway, never ending jet scene? SORRY for the rant, I'm going to go find a few cats to chamois dry my car with..... carry on

Hey prolly ended up with the one Vettel ragged out on Ferrari's track a few months back... LOL

"they" say OFF bug spray will fix that right up.... :)

I'm from LA and even I hate it.... oh by the by, LA = LOWER ALABAMA :)

THAT damn thing looks like the bottom of my gas grill...

they could be making marine mix concrete as a base. Roman structures that used it are still standing. Would make a killer foundation

The airport did sustain a good amount of water damage, I cant recall if it was from TONS of rain, or high water. I suppose the point I was trying to make, was that, with those other problem plagued examples; they could build on the mistakes.

HAVE MERCY, Jennifer LOVE!!!!

I recon HARP will do some testing and the next thing we know a 'massive' typhoon or tsunami will smooth these bumps right back into the ocean. Dealing China a blow to is economy, trigging a world wide humanitarian act. Which in order to take full advantage, the US will negotiate a reduction in its debt to China.

the potato camera strikes again.... :)

If they are using reefs like the article suggest, they have all the rock they need. We dredge the channels in the Bahamas cruise terminals for free, turn around and sell the stone to make cement and road base. I worked for the company that did this. But, yes, slag is also being used for these purposes, we have also

Like I said in an earlier post. All they had to do is learn from previous endeavors such as the Palm Islands in Dubai, and Japan International Airport.

It isn't like loads of examples of this type of structure have not already been built, many are still doing fine. Look at the Palm Islands in Dubai (most recent, I think), Japan International airport, and so on... Just saying, others have done it, the technology has been tested improved. All they had to do is research

funny you mention the R variant. I was just watching a show about it last night. They gave scenario's of its use alongside an f-22, and various other rolls. Rather neat show
