Welcome to the Rust Belt.

Does no one here fault the morality of the buyer?!? Jesus H - its like Tom is completely absolving the buyer of any fault, here. Nobody held a gun to the buyer’s head and said “sign here”. This speaks more to the “I deserve a new car” mentality of people than it does to the sales tactics of a car dealer. Dealers are

I don’t have a lot to add to the story, but Looking at the service invoice, I’m curious as to why Tesla racked up 142 miles on the car the 2 days they had it in for service.

Yup.  Give me a manual and I'd happily be a Supra owner.  Until then?  Meh.

Exactly. I wanted a Supra my whole life. Its really a BMW? Okay. I can deal with that. Its only an auto??!?

It’s just a bit hypocritical because the car probably is better than it would be without BMW‘s participation.

Kia: Behold the Stinger, attractive, high performance car at a good price!

Can we address the bigger issue here? Can we stop with the recommended/recent videos auto playing on every single page?

The only thing holding back the y62 gen from majority of aussies from buying is the lack of a diesel option. Period.

I have ridden in one (1) race car outfitted with five-pointers, so I’m no expert. But my impression was that without a helmet and a HANS is snap-your-neck lethal (I learned it by watching Mr. Regular!). So this seems to be a faulty take based on incomplete information.

Boy, talk about the tail wagging the dog.

Never under estimate the English capacity for expensive spite. They will spend huge amounts of money just to try to do something stupid, simply because they think they should not or to hang onto tradition. If anything, the cost and effort needed might actually mean that it is more likely to happen; in England at

I'm picturing you pushing up your glasses and adjusting your headlamp during this exchange.

I’d like to think its a little more honest than the FJC. though I get ya. I still think, even if its not a “defender” it will be a better all rounder than the old one by a huge margin, and not just in road manners.

What a weird excuse. The Wrangler should have that off road oriented technology to make it better and help it’s shortcomings.

It actually warms my heart to see a company producing an engine based on being overbuilt and long lasting at the expense of outright power or sexiness.

Additionally, even if the original owner sold it before the 6/72k warranty was up, the warranty was transferrable so that may have artificially raised resale as the 2nd owner knows (s)he is covered by the factory warranty

Oh man, agree to disagree. I think it’s great.
