Yeah, the interior looks the same as the Aussie spec. The lower trim and centre console plastics over here are very cheap and hard but the drivers position is actually really carlike. It might have big truck dimensions but the Ranger does drive a lot smaller than it looks due to super light quite direct powersteering,

The current diesels are just ok. I’ve spent time in the 2.2 and 3.2 diesels with auto and manual over the years and they’re just too rough and not actually that efficient for 2019 launch vehicle.

It’s not that they aren’t committed, I think the twin turbo 2.0 diesel will make it to the USA eventually. The problem limiting engine choice is likely weight and economy vs f150. To be successful this truck needs to be more efficient on EPA testing than F150. Problem is F150 is lighter and now has a diesel to get

I don’t think a V6 fits without expensive engineering. Probably unlikely this gen

I believe Bronco will get unique body styling to the new Ranger and rest of the world Everest.

The funny thing is weight wise the steel bodied Ranger will be about the same weight (2100-2200kg) or heavier than the aluminium bodied F150

I thought CAFE doesn’t apply to trucks?

I think you’ll find that’s the Everest sporting the soo to be updated Ranger front end rather than the Bronco undergoing testing.
