RE: that whole Vancouver thing... one of my favorite small sight gags they did was in the episode Hollywood Babylon. At the end, Sam and Dean are walking off into the sunset... and then they roll away the backdrop and you see it’s overcast and very clearly not Southern California.

Absolutely. It feels a little weird to say this but whenever I throw on a random episode, it feels like I’m hanging out with old friends. Sam and Dean (and Castiel) are just so easy to love.

YES. Exactly this. I feel like one of the reasons that TNT has it running for several hours each morning is precisely because of this. It’s a perfect show to just kinda have on in the background. It’s like the TV version of a great B-movie, like, say, Tremors. Doesn’t take itself too seriously, better than it should

I’d say yes. It’s a fun show with a great taste in music that absolutely struck gold in its casting of the two leads (Jensen moreso than Jared, just because Jared can be a little bit wooden, if we’re being honest). If you’ve been a fan of Buffy and/or the X-Files, I think you’d definitely enjoy this show.

My wife and I kinda lost track of the show around the time of the Mark of Cain and Demon Dean, but I’m glad that we dove back in and got caught up, because the last couple seasons have, for the most part, been really fun. Obviously, nothing will top seasons 4 and 5, which are about as perfect a pair of seasons a show

“My girlfriend sucked 37 dicks!” “In a row?”

What he did was obviously inappropriate, and I don’t doubt he regrets engaging in those actions. My bigger regret with the whole situation is that it reinforced the idea that the Dems hold themselves to higher standards than the current GOP, given the fact that if things were turned around, a sitting member of the

That’s very true. I work at a college and a lot of our brainier students (in the classroom) are completely morons when you take the textbooks away.

I mean, I know that Ashton is smarter than he comes across in some of his roles. I know that. But it’s still somehow fairly surprising to watch him in interviews like this and listen to him talk, and have it become abundantly clear that, yeah... this dude is actually highly, highly intelligent.

All I know about the job of a PA is from that one episode of Supernatural where Sam and Dean become PAs in order to investigate murders on a movie set and Dean winds up absolutely loving the job. Man, that was a great episode...

Speaking of people working in casting, Melissa McBride from The Walking Dead did some acting in small roles early on and then worked as a casting director for 10 years. And from what I just now read on her Wiki (so it must be true!), when Frank Darabont cast her in a small role in The Mist he offered her a bigger part

Damnit, Apple. You were so close to taking JJ Abrams and hiding him away on a service I’ll never watch. So close to freeing me from him. And you just couldn’t get it done. For shame, Apple.

Probably in both. But she definitely rocked some lingerie in Blades of Glory.

This is all true, but I will never deny that when she got into her saucy lingerie in Blades of Glory it... it was good.

Same - actually just came down to the comments to say essentially the same thing.

Sophia is Maz = confirmed.

Stephen King is a master of writing everything but a decent ending. That said - I’m one of the hot take people who absolutely LOVES the ending of the Dark Tower series. To me, it was perfect.

That’s how I read it as well. Plus, I always just kinda assumed Krasinski would be on the liberal side because he’s from Massachusetts, which overall leans left. But who knows. After all, my wife is a liberal Texan, so anomalies exist.

Man. Imagine being this much of a fucking prick.

Just a random thing that popped into my head since you mentioned the McQueen/Newman rivalry, it’s interesting to me that both of those guys, who filled a VERY similar role in Hollywood, were also hugely into racing cars. What a weirdly specific hobby for two guys who must have competed for a lot of roles.
