Pretty nice for a car with a name that sounds like a building.

You don't insure a car like this with State Farm. You need to find a specialist broker who deals with specialist insurers. I wish him well, but I don't have a lot of hope for him.

There was some initial confusion when Cadillac engineers were told to develop a hybrid Escalade.

The cupholder remains suitably primitive. It appears to operate something like a zip-tie for your drink.

The Escalade, now fixed.

@FodderTheSane: But it's only one character away from Escalate, which is, y'know, what the military does.

Good to the last stop.

Just watched the video. Feh. Load the roof rack and try that without spilling anything.

I always liked that generation of Previa. AWD, please.

This is a rare and intriguing car, but I don't see any inherent virtues that would justify the price. I could see somebody having fun with an engine swap, if that's feasible. But the initial outlay would have to be lower, much lower.

Did you say bigger greenhouse? I assume that will go for the civilian version as well. There's a trend reversal I can get behind.

It looks like it's grimacing as it struggles against the pull of the Toyota-fier.

The bulge from the top of the front wheel arch down into the door imparts a heaviness to the front of the car that's just odd. The rear is incredibly generic. Next, please.

@bygeorge: Huh...I replaced the Chevette with a Horizon—definitely a step up, and a bit of a sleeper with the 2.2. But the ergonomics of that car were absurd.

Having owned one, I have to go with the Chevette. Although the Spectrum I considered as a replacement comes close. It takes a pretty bad car to make you hold onto your Chevette.

It's....beautiful.
