I think you have to know your child. If they have self esteem problems or a genuine phobia of embarrassment, you can make their life a living hell.

Because they said so ;)

I’m of the opinion that embarrassing your kids builds character and promotes personal growth and inner strength.

I’m thinking they got a facebook account in 09 and have been uploading old photos to it. (Source; working at a library and having to show people with new facebook accounts how to upload photos.)

Respect. Simple really. Treat your kids as equal where appropriate.

Not exactly the same thing, but I’ve often wondered what will happen with the children of various well-known “Mommy Bloggers” who have had every moment of their life from gestation onwards broadcast to strangers.

it’s the same, it just saves time because you get the money upfront rather than having to sue when you’re 18

Setting aside the question of whether they should have been posted in the first place... What kind of controlling, asshole parents wouldn’t delete them from public view at the child’s request?

“and should inspire improved psychiatric and somatic care after sex reassignment for this patient group”

When they hit puberty evvvvvverything embarasses them though! But I generally think fully naked photos, poop, and the like arent something parents should put on social media.

Fuck Yeah!

I am not a parent, but a good rule of thumb:

I thinking taking a few first-time-in-the-real-tub photos or naked chubby baby butt photos are okay but should be kept private, just a cute memory for the parents to cry over someday when the kids are grown up or whatever. Posting that shit on social media is weird and crossing a line. Posting it on social media when

Ok, but what if I hired a potty training consultant and I film it for the TV show I’m on? Is that cool?

It’s weird that they’re so obviously proud of her and love her that they want to share everything but are comfortable ruining their relationship with their kid rather than just take down the photos.

This is good. More families should sue each other and clog up the courts with their intra-family squabbles. Stay classy!

“...An Austrian girl is suing her parents for posting photos of her getting her diaper changed and sitting on the potty without her permission, something she claims they’ve been doing since 2009....”

I would be upset too if I was still toilet training in 2016. She may have bigger issues.

Can we not call two people raping another person a theesome? Jesus.

Well you don’t just start off by raping someone at Sundance.
