@Virginia(formerly Jen)loveshercurves: it was the fishing that got me. i mean, you make fairly sudden movements when casting, and if they had caught a fish it would have been flailing on the end of the line like "hey bears! eat me!". my mind just kept imagining the worst.

i saw this (yes... i watched it. but only out of morbid curiosity) and kept screaming at the tv "GET AWAY FROM THE BEARS!". i couldnt believe she was fishing right next to a bear and cubs. what a moron.

@DeccaLeChat: i try and hold out til thanksgiving for all christmas-y related things... i failed miserably this year. Already drank eggnog AND started listening to christmas music. although i will wait til after thanksgiving to decorate... (i think).

@janiejones56: that sounds so delicious. unfortunately i am allergic to dairy, so i get to drink Soy Nog. It's not terrible, but certainly not as delicious as the real deal.

love the random eggnog at the end. there's no way i'd be able to wait til 11 to drink it! i bought my first carton of the holiday season yesterday. :D

i have been reading these stories all day yesterday and today and have finally reached the end of the comments....

@curlicue: holy poop. that is creepy and awesome.

@ChloeSF: that last story about the baby powder has me freaked out! the footprints were leading towards you in the tub?

@curlicue: i want to see too!! eeekk.

@upperloverz: eeeeek! that face is creepy...like a doll face almost.

@jenangelcat: i spent so many nights like this as a child, and do so now after watching scary movies or law and order marathons. for some reason i feel like the fabric will protect me.

@lilkimbo: i was thinking botox too. there's no other logical explanation! ;)

@weetziebat: i read ALL of these so many times over. i remember once reading one super scary story to my cousin of the same age, and he had nightmares for weeks. his mom yelled at my mom for letting me read them, saying she was a bad parent. my mom let me continue reading them until my school library got rid of them.

@theotherwhitegirl: the closet story is what my childhood nightmares were made of. i would have slept in my parents room instead of being logical and tying it shut.
