@bjarnia: Indeed, WoW is probably the best way for a gamer to improve ones economy. Hell one movie ticker with popcorn etc will probably cost you more than 15$.

@Burguois, Teabagger of Olde: The last phase 4+ pandemic killed 50 million granted that was 1912 but the medical care level in a lot of countries haven't exactly increased much since them.

@hippo24: The only thing WoW has done is to multiply the mmo consumer base several times over. Any developer will tell you this. But sure its though to compete with a product which has been continuously polished so much as WoW has.

@PATSCRU: Their is no on p2p emphasis on the PC version of l4d. Granted alot of the servers are so utterly worthless that it would seem so.
