I don't own a PS3 or anything but what if someone had created a account on a old PS3 and then moved it to a slim PS3 or something, are they screwed?

It's cool but still with a Linux based operating system on the PS3 I imagine it would be possible for OpenGL games like Quake 3 would run on it and could be optimized due to the open source code. So if anything Linux should of had a better life on the PS3.

Bad, Not enough RAM and no graphics drivers for the OpenGL hardware plus games aren't optimized for 8 cores I'm afraid.
