Kellyanne - When you say, “Collusion? No. We don’t have that yet,” it implies that we will eventually. You might want to refrain from using “yet” in future bullshit sessions.
Hi, NW Iowan from King’s district here. What’s wrong with Iowa are the two same things that are wrong with the rest of the country. 1) the people who bitch about King don’t show up to vote him out, or even if they do, 2) our state is gerrymandered to fuck and King faces zero realistic opposition.
King may represent us…
This reminds me of when the LA police, who were looking for a cop killer (who happened to be a large black man) in giant black pickup truck, instead stopped a small blue pickup truck carrying two small asian women and unloaded something on the order of a 100 rounds of ammunition into the truck before working out that…
“God, I hate racists and bigots and other people who make broad generalizations about whole groups of people.”
And after all this, she’ll still end up with an arrest/criminal record, which will make it very difficult to get a good job. Yes, even if they eventually drop the charges, it stays on your record as an arrest and you’ll be disqualified from many jobs.
Moore claimed that as another officer, identified as G. Vasquez was handcuffing the teen, she spun her left shoulder into him, knocking Vasquez off the balance and taking him to the ground.
Let’s be real, the only part of the description these fucking pigs paid any attention to is the word “Black.” Age, shape, size, gender, none of these things man a thing so long as whoever they grabbed was Black. This is not a case of mistaken identity. This is the cops not giving a fuck who they target and aren’t even…
Or.......walk away. She’s homeless. She ain’t going to drive off on a murderous crime spree.
The officer was either untrained, or ignored training, in dealing with the mentally ill. There were other options than the baton. For example, call backup, put her in a hold, and cuff her when backup arrives. Or simply subdue the thin, old woman physically and handcuff her. The baton is generally used as a…
Because remember, folks—context or the actual severity of the threat no longer matters when it comes to this sort of shit. What matters is that when the cop thinks their authority is questioned or ignored, any level of force is justified. Public safety is longer the goal; the goal is enforcement of authority.
“He wouldn’t have beaten her if she didn’t resist being beaten “. :-(
Geezus. Do they train new cops to scream ‘stop resisting’ the minute they have any interaction with a civilian? Or is it just picked up by osmosis?
“I’ll even read the King James Bible until the wall is funded”
Yeah, seriously, I don’t understand how anybody can buy the “Tillerson’s just a good old fashioned patriot who didn’t expect it to be this bad!” narrative.
What the fuck is up with cops and shooting shit not threatening them? About 15 years ago I didn’t close the door all the way in my house with the alarm on. After getting a call that the police responded to a door alarm all I found was that the police came by, checked the house and found nothing wrong. This happened…
Even if you presume he was searching for a not-present suspect, you have to follow that presumption with him shooting the dogs to get to the suspect and then letting the suspect continue to do whatever he believed the suspect was doing in order to get away from the dogs he had already shot.
IIRC Dogs = property, and thus cops have no legal fear at all to kill them.
Minor quibble: sequestration was the result of budget limits imposed by Congress through the Budget Control Act of 2011 and signed by the President. Its background is far more complex than the implication that Obama unilaterally impaired the DoD.
