We'll see how this works out, but from the online comments I've seen a lot of people are piiiiiiiiiiissed that CBS dumped two of the show's stars that had been there since the first season for no good reason.

Per Wikipedia, I think yes. He's in a show called "Bizaardvark" that appears to be currently airing.
That's not at all how I'd describe it. There are a ton of stories depending on where you look - the current season, the arcs of each individual team, rivalries, individual players… There's a lot more to it than just that.
Disney is in a real weird position right now, where it dominates all the entertainment on the planet, but that can't really last.
It's not unrelated. That's apparently one of the reasons that Whitmire got canned - he gave feedback about how Kermit was written and it wasn't going over well.
Everybody keeps talking about Kermit, but I want to know what does this mean for Rizzo and Beaker and Statler and Ernie and Bean Bunny and all the other characters Whitmire performed?
That only happened because Comedy Central had literally nothing else to fill that slot, though. @midnight was their only other daily show (aside from, y'know, The Daily Show) after The Nightly Show ended.
I haven't seen the episode you posted, but my vote for best ever is one from last year. John Hodgman, Kristen Schaal, and Fozzie Bear.
You're welcome. :D
I haven't read the story, but based on this…
Nine listed here, though some of those seem pretty minor.
Why choose just one? They have multiple denominations of bills, right?
PFT posted about this almost immediately after they made the announcement - he's actually where I heard the news first - so I'd say there's hope for him making one more appearance, at least. :)
Shit! With the right guests the show could be almost magical. I'm going to miss it.
It can be two things. I don't think either party is without some of the blame, but Whitmire's complaints sure seem to align with what we've seen from the Muppets over the years.
NBC never should have signed her in the first place, but I don't think the dollar amount was entirely unreasonable. She was the face of Fox News when they signed her, and her book was just a #1 bestseller this past fall. She'd have landed that kind of deal no matter where she went, and I don't think anyone expected…
Also, we care because SHE'S INTERVIEWING PUTIN AND ALEX JONES AND TREATING THEM LIKE THEY HAVE REASONABLE OPINIONS ON NATIONAL TELEVISION.
…so because Trump was mean to her, you're willing to overlook things like her declaring Santa and Jesus are white, or her fearmongering about Black Panthers at polling places, or any of the dozens of godawful things she did while she was at Fox?
You, Tube. Me, Tarzan.
Good. She fucking started that show off with Putin and Alex Jones. She isn't even trying to pretend to leave the Fox News bubble.
