If for no other reason, your sponsor is paying for their logo to be on television. There are actually people whose job it is to tally the number of seconds of on-air time.

I’m sure I’d outrage and confuse both sides of the political spectrum by suggesting that more jobs in Mexico could reduce the number of people crossing our border to look for work...
I once got to drive one of these from Ft Hamilton in Brooklyn out to Far Rockaway. For some reason we weren’t allowed to take the Belt Parkway, so we had to go through lots of local streets.
When I had a car with cruise control, I decided I’d never buy another daily driver without it. And I haven’t.
Neutral: Do Wagons Have A Future?
South Carolina also has a road testing how far it can deteriorate . It’s called I-95.
Lincoln
1979 leftover Chevette. 4-speed. Lemon Yellow, factory chosen color to be a fitting match for its engine. Which, with an entire 79 miles on the odo, ate a valve as I was backing out of a parking space at KMart. Since it was “no longer current model year” they decided to rebuild the engine instead of replacing it.
2nd gear: The lawyers need to sue each other. That’s where the REAL money is.
Oops, they misread the “How To BMW” book. Odd numbers are for regular sedans. Even numbers are reserved for coupes and sedans with coupe-like rear headroom. And they are leaving out M-B. The CT6 should have been the CT 7-S and the CTS replacement the CT 5-E. Otherwise they might have BMW and M-B owners confused about…
Football’s commercial timeouts taken to Na$car...
And those who think they need the ride height of an SUV will be impressed by a lower seating position?
Last year’s purchase decision finalists came down to the Cherokee and Lincoln MKC. Cherokee lost on reliability and interior. We do regret the MKC’s adaptive cruise not being full-range like the Cherokee’s.
Like other cars with electronic latches (Corvette, Cadillac, etc), pull the actual key out of the fob, open the trunk, pull the wire that releases the latch mechanically.
Let’s note that “1500 yards” is nearly a full mile (1760 yards).
I asked Jaguar about the “Cruise control with Automatic Speed Limiter”and was told it’s NOT an adaptive cruise. Really? At this level, premium vehicles should have even the next step up — full range adaptive cruise.
I like the idea of making better use of the console area. Take away an item that most of the time only gets used briefly when you start going somewhere, and briefly when you get where you’re going. Putting it on the column makes sense, more so than Lincoln’s stack of push buttons.
If you don’t need the V6, a Lincoln MKC may be worth looking at, with a comparatively equipped one costing far less. And if you’re in the south or take long trips, the MKC’s air conditioned seats will make you wonder why you can’t get them on the Audi at any price.
20+ mile 1-way commute? Volt. Or a 2-year-old ELR.
