Here's the thing—the guy's in public, not in a private space. You really want to live in a place where you have to get permission to take a photo on a public street? Do I have to name the kind of places where you can't do that?

The Christian right encourages adoption as a way of making more evangelical Christians and because they're willing to adopt older children, they get away with adoptions that should never happen—i.e. tons of kids, cockamanie and destructive approaches to child-rearing.
It's a throwback. Thing about iceberg lettuce is that it can travel. So, for years, the only lettuce a lot of people saw off-season and out of lettuce-growing regions was iceberg. It has nearly no taste, but does have a ton o' crunch, so the custom of drenching it in a strong-tasting dressing evolved as a result. …
Yeah, I get so annoyed when little things like physics are ignored—water pressure at the bottom of the ocean is serious stuff—you'd get dense mini-zombies—only you wouldn't because everything at the bottom of the ocean that lives on cadavers would be having lunch.
Madeleine,
So you're saying women of color have pay equity and white women don't? Because from what I can see women of all hues face a problem with wage disparity—and that "we" means women period.
Really, I didn't hear her say "white women"—I heard her say "women". You're reading into her comments. The gender disparity in pay applies to all women.
And why is that? The continuing inequity in pay and the ongoing legislation restricting women's reproductive choices is something that should concern everyone who cares about equal rights. And it's time there was some more across-the-board support.
You know I'm sure you mean well, but your no excuses attitude is pretty authoritarian. Even bullies *are* kids and vulnerable the way kids are. You do have to draw the line about unacceptable behavior, but to be that dismissive of the possible causes, including a bad home situation, is unfair to everyone involved. …
Nah, I like Piper too. But, then, I also think many of the scenes between her and Larry were pretty funny. I hope he wanders back in for a bit at a later date.
Oh, yes, definitely. Sally looks like she walked out of my brother's high-school yearbook. Of all the outfits, hers gave me the biggest flashback.
Trudy for the win. There should always be more Trudy. I want Trudy grinding Pete into the ground in one of her fabulous pre-burbs outfits. With a hat.
Which is an improvement for Pegs. She'll never get the hair right, but her clothing's definitely been getting better.
I'd guess it's like horses where each one has to have an entirely unique name for registry/lineage purposes, but when the dog's being a dog you just call it by a regular old dog name.
Look, I'm a woman, I hear Republican lawmakers say outrageous things about women on a regular basis. I hear Ann Coulter say extremely offensive things on a regular basis.
I'm in Silicon Valley, so it's start-ups and real-estate prices. Also, these days, the drought.
Except these bees were migrant bees—they or their parents came to France, a western non-Islamic country, not vice-versa. Why shouldn't they expect to assimilate to the point that they don't kill people who don't share their views?
No, it's more like telling vegans not to kill people who eat meat.
Probably enabler-mother. So the father's the narcissist and the mother is the one who lets him get away with his abuse.
Not anyone I've ever known. Those swimsuits are expensive, so when I was young and had the sort of body that was suitable for a bikini, I didn't have the cash. Later on, when I had the money, I wanted more coverage.
