Honestly, never found fresh durian to be nice, although the smell doesn’t seem that bad after awhile.

Cooked on pizza though it’s incredibly delicious.

To be honest, it depends on the method to eat it. I remember the first time I smelt them... they are bad, however the smell does mellow once you get used to it more. Taste however is foul... unless cooked on a pizza.
