Not false logic. Vista was well-received until people actually started using it. Proximity key systems have been in place for years now. There are no mass demands to remove them, car makers are not losing sales due to the inclusion of them, and this is the first negative press I've seen on them.

Well, no. It's actually mostly saying that for one particular class of user (auto journalists who go on group test drives, etc) proximity keys can cause problems.
