Well, the emergency beaking system I have in my BWM 7 series DOES stop the car, no matter if I hit the throttle or not. It saved my ass many times because people drive like morons and move out to the left to overtake without looking back.

There are TONS of countries with lower emission standards. Actually these cars can be sold pretty much everywhere, even in the US would be possible. The issue is that they stated lower emission standards. If they didn´t do that they could aswell have been sold.
