Wow, thats how my wife drives around with the kids. Wearing an evening gown. Impressive how well Volvo manages to despict reality.

Well, it is the closest way to simulate reality. Even commercial plane trainers work this way. And if you ever did test something comparable to this, you would now that it actually simulates reality VERY well. The illusion would be better if it were a closed room moving, as the visual impression of tilted surfaces…
Who the hell cares. This thing looks 1000 times better. It´s for the looks, the LOOKS for gods sake!
How would that be more impressive? Its basically force feedback on the backside of the chair - not more than vibrations. That is 100 times less impressive because you basically lack any de- and acceleration. The screens, yes, bigger - but the overall setup so much less impressive.
Whats that? The poor mans version?
Welcome to the wonders of of physics. You know, acceleration and deceleration are basically just lateral G-forces. So, guess how that can be simulated? Right - by tilting the cockpit.....
I see that you could still fit a comma in there - MORE COMMAS
Is that plywood at the back?
Holy....this must be something american. Here in good old europe it is VERY common for unmarked Police vehicles to stop you and make you pull over (with less force). It´s is called "Zivilstreife" - in germany they usually drive BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E Class or Audia A6 - they got lights inside, just like this car.
You guys do know that pretty much every single european car has that feature, right? If you do some hard braking, the rear brake lights will start flashing. This is pretty much standard....anything else would be nonsense. ABS works even with light braking and it would not be necessary to signal this the car behind you.
