Just looked it up, it was the second game of the series, 8th total game of his career. I ended up not being able to get to see him in person until that August of that season. I was 14 at the time and I didn’t have the authority to make family plans that required 4 hours of driving in each direction.

Half German here too. We have a family friend who runs a 4th generation German butcher shop about 100 miles away from us. I love going there and filling up the biggest cooler I have with shit that I can’t get locally.

I’ve actually been to a Chinese restaurant in Hermiston, The Panda Inn. It’s not the best I’ve had by any means but the buffet is something like $10 for lunch and $12 for dinner. Take a buck off if you don’t want the soda. The dinner is worth the extra $2 alone since they bring out the fried shrimp.

Same here. No instagram and I do my shopping at three different stores. Yokes for anything fresh, fruits/veggies/meats.
