From Carrier Command, to Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising, and now back to Carrier Command.

There's a quality disparity between the first 99% of the game, and the last ten minutes. EA basically must have said it's taking too long, finish it quick and ship it.

Can they be taken down by a plucky newbie in a dollar-a-dozen fighter with a single shot?

That comic really highlights the problems all the really vocal people have with the game.

Same. I havn't touched ME3 SP or MP in months, and I enjoyed the MP well enough. SP, I played it through, got to the choices and stopped playing for the night. I didn't want to continue with the "rest of the game" without giving that choice some thought.

Ben & Jerry's make a fantastic apple pie icecream ("Oh My! Apple Pie!" originally, now renamed to "Apple-y Ever After" in the UK at least).
