@belial_77: i'll agree there, the jokes in both can be broad and some can be very specific. I doubt that some people would get that the show was bashing adult readers of archie comics as being simple minded.

@belial_77: some shows can not be remade because the actors are what makes the show. I wish I could find the pilot just to say that I did see it.

@Gothamite88: well the question was what show would become popular in the US like doctor who. most of my friends have loved the show when I showed it to them with instant view. the humor is not all techie laden, its humor is on the same plane as office space.
