As a fellow new yorker who bought his first gun about 2 years ago I will tell you that its incredibly easy to buy a rifle. I'd go with a remington 700 before a mini-14 though. My dad has both and the Mini-14 is all over the place when the remington is dead on.

They did the same thing last season. They setup a scene panel for panel like the comic with shane and rick out hunting. I like the fact that they have setup scenes similar to the comic but you never know if its going to really go down. It adds to the anticipation.
