Yes, they would allow you to test drive the car you now owned. How very accommodating of them :(

Yes Tesla treats you very nicely! The Penske-owned BMW dealer here has also been very accommodating.

So true! Doug just needs to replace name dropping famous cars he’s owned with name dropping famous athletes, have more footnotes, and reference more stupid 80’s movies.

Seriously! I think they have changed management / name since then. Maybe it is better now. I wasn’t asking to drive their most expensive Aston Martin Vanquish or anything - it was a 10 year old Elise selling for $35K. Stuck up morons!

I have no idea. I’m 35, dress nicely, pull up in a nice car, and I still can’t get people to take me seriously sometimes. I think it is because I look much younger. Sometimes you just have to try a different dealer.

The local Lotus dealer told me I could test drive AFTER I bought the car. I ended up with a Porsche 911 instead.

Cool, thanks!

Can you fit a bike in the back with seats folded?

I don't like this argument, because even if the Bible wrote in all caps that being gay was the worst possible sin it wouldn't matter. Homosexuality is not a crime nor moral shortcoming and it doesn't matter if one religious group or another thinks it is a sin.

Agreed, the last generation Boxster looks perfect.

I hope YouTube commenters aren't the yardstick by which we judge humanity. Otherwise we should just end it all now!

I didn't mean they wouldn't have a different sound quality, just that it wouldn't sound much louder to go from 129 db to 132 db even though that is double the power.

See 1234's response :)

True, but your ears also perceive it logarithmically, so it doesn't sound that much different to your brain.

Ugh you are probably right. However, it's been 50 years since Sidney Poitier won an Oscar and I doubt most people think like that anymore.

I didn't know that was a problem. That is very strange. People are ignorant and scientists need all the help they can get, just like McLaren needs people like Chris Harris.

NdGT is well spoken FOR A NERD. That is what people mean. Good point though.

Then you are a true gentleman :)

And you don't even have to pay for dinner!
