I think 996 Turbos look amazing, what year is yours? Too much car for me though! I am really not a fast driver. I appreciate the handling, gear box, braking, and all that but 300 some horsepower is enough for me so I am really happy with the 997.

There is a guy at work with a beautiful yellow 996 turbo. The interior in black doesn't look that bad.

Okay, carry on.

Sweet, but why the Euro plate? Sacrilege!

I nominate a $80,000+ Toyota Land Cruiser. Most people don't know or care how expensive they are.

Isnt that basically ALMS? ;)

Is this possibly inspired by the F60 cockpit coloring?

If the other person was clearly at fault, you don't even call your own insurance company. You call the other person's insurance. I've had several very good experiences when the other person had Allstate. They paid up with minimal questions, and none of the damages even show up on CARFAX.

It must run on D batteries. No need to supercharge when you can pop in a few D cells.

The rain came fast. I left my seat to take my son to get a drink and ended up watching all this from the WEC tent.

Its just big boned

You only drove the car for 15 minutes. Wouldn't it be disappointing if you could hit its limits during that short time? That would be like beating a video game on your first try, or walking up to a violin and playing a concerto without ever having had lessons.

Not this man! Get back in there, tear!

One used car dealer told me I could test drive after I bought the car.

Quick explanation is that it is not actually a pipe, it is a picture of a pipe, which is why Magritte added the text "this is not a pipe". It's meant to be disconcerting. There is a lot written about it - for example: http://www.renemagritte.org/the-treachery-…

"The Treachery of Marketing"

...and are you going to start calling Morgan Caterham?

I think you'll need more than 30K anyway:

Yeah but the Morgan 4/4 is made out of WOOD.

The hype for that thing was incredible. Way beyond any product release I can ever remember. Then the CEO literally drove one off a cliff.
