I chuckled when I saw him, but he was doing the right thing

I was driving very carefully at < 20 MPH and ended up sideways on the highway today. Three things about Austin:

I passed an E63 AMG going about 20 MPH getting onto SH-45 today in NW Austin. A few minutes later I was sliding sideways through absolute carnage. Somehow I avoided hitting anything and went home with my tail between my legs :(

I have the '04 Mazda 6 wagon which I bought new in 2005. It's been a great car. More kid/dog friendly than any sedan and nicer to drive than any minivan and most SUV's.

The Stingray, CTS-V, F-type, and Cayman are all in the same price range. They're pretty expensive, but not unobtanium if you save up or pick up a used model.
