My last speedtest rating while testing out the beta was 57Mbps. I barely noticed any lag. So it seems for me cloud gaming is feasible but I'm still hoping to get Google Fiber in my area within the next few years. I'm more concerned about the horrible PS Now rates and if/when they'll be offering a subscription option

Interesting. I wonder what that additional $49.99 is for? An extra item included in their cheapest bundle?

It does have some multiplats but I know what you're saying. I included it since I did consider it at one point.

Yeah, I guess the XBO price drop and removal of Kinect has made it cheaper in some areas. I wish they would have done that at launch when I got mine. Game prices here are about the same across the board for consoles.

I bought one because it was the cheaper option for multiplatform games, besides the WiiU.

Unless they an do something more subtle like the use of the phrase, "O'Captain My Captain" (citing Walt Whitman), which would be awesome. Tributes can be done in many ways.

Now playing

The Xbox One's latest commercial kind of reinforces the image. Sylvester Stallone narrating was a nice touch.

An unfinished survival horror with minecraft-like crafting. I guess people didn't want to pay for a beta.

They must really hate Origin since they're giving it away for free there.

Makes sense. Landlocked by seven other states, who wouldn't want to escape into a Sims Island Paradise?

Probably Twitch streaming Gamescon using public wi-fi without a VPN.

Oh okay, that's still a decent turnout. 68K, that's about as much as a sold out football game.

Sure, not everything gets huge crowd turnouts in the U.S. but we're particular when it comes to events and venue. I didn't think Burning Man was that big of a turnout anymore. Check out Coachella or several events that happen in Vegas if you want to see large turnouts in the U.S.

I still fail to see the hypocrisy though. First party exclusives are different from third party exclusives. One is owned by their respective console publisher, the other either is published for all platforms at the same time or deals are made with their multiplatform publishers for timed exclusivity.

So you're saying people complain that Halo isn't on Wii or PS consoles? Or Mario games aren't on Xbox or PS consoles? First party titles are exclusive because console publishers own those IPs. Arguing this is ridiculous...and anyone that does is an idiot.

Let's get this straight: no one complains about first party exclusives, period.

Superior? No. Your one-sided bias? Yes.

It's a grey area between Fair Use and Copyright Infringement.

I didn't think this would be earth-shattering news. New gen development is x86 based since Xbox One and PS4 are both x86 architecture, while PS3 is the only console using Cell architecture. It just adds a layer of difficulty to port over.

That's because they funded the Destiny commercials. I wouldn't expect Coca-Cola to mention Pepsi in the commercials they pay for either.
