Good to know. I thought it would be as big as the original PSP phat.

Sensationalism!
I'm so ready for HTML5 PvZ. I already have Angry Birds HTML5 on Chrome back when they were giving it away for free.
They're only flash demos. Those who want the full games still have to pay, so...
Timed exclusivity karma is a bitch.
He couldn't use "pop" or "cap" because EA bought those rights.
I'd consider it more like an extra than the ending to the single player portion of the game as the movie analogy suggests, yes. Fighting and racing games rarely have storylines, but do have lines of progression which aren't necessarily interrupted when their online portion is removed, just like sports games. Career…
Cue hackers fixing their targets on Japan's police web sites...
Unless they remove the ending from single player games that analogy doesn't really fit. Online is generally a separate feature of the game from its single player campaign. Now, if they charged you to view the 'extras' on a movie that would be a more similar analogy, even though it usually doesn't involve accessing…
Buying used isn't unethical, but then again neither is licensing online features to the original owner via activation. I probably am more understanding of this coming from the PC gaming platform. The value just needs to be readjusted in the secondhand market, that's all.
God, I so want to 100% this game. Either that or just be able to dual wield two Keel Smashers with no equip burden.
I'd have to agree with your points. Used game buyers deserve to get their games, "as is". Isn't that the way it's always been? When I go to a garage sale or on ebay should I expect that everything I buy works like new? Hell no! It would be nice, but far from expected. By the same token, there should be no expected…
I can somewhat relate to Salari's views. I occasionally have fun in MP matches, but in general it doesn't satisfy me as much as a good single player experience can. Mainly because I like to go at my own pace. In MP games you're basically a pawn in competitive matches, with the sole objective of winning the match.…
This is actually good news for some used game buyers. Ones that have always wanted to pay for the single player portion of the game only. Now we just need Gamestop to start marking down their used game prices with online passes, preferably by $10 less for all of them.
I wish commenters like you were starred more often instead of the trolls that like to pollute these boards.
Touche... and I knew from the start your were all butthurt over Microsoft's GFWL failure. It works both ways.
No, you never mentioned Steam's offline mode directly which I've never had issues with. You just mention the only reason people have problems with GFWL are pirates who can't play their games online, alluding that they can on Steam. Which is misleading since Steam allows games to be added from other non-Steam…
That still wouldn't require you to use it daily, for such a shitty service. Besides GFWL you seem hesitant as to what those mystical clients you were referring to are. If GFWL was in actuality the example you're citing for that so-called 'better deals', 'better client', then I feel I've been right all along.
Why would I be mad? I'm actually happy GFWL is just about dead. It ruined a handful of good games with its poor implementation and design.
or butthurt over Steam succeeding where Microsoft failed
