Online cheating seems like the next logical progression.
Online cheating seems like the next logical progression.
So when will the latest online cheats be available? I'm ready to run and gun with the accuracy of a sniper rifle while shooting from the hip.
Yeah, he didn't open the system up for piracy himself, and he'd be stupid to admit otherwise on television while currently under litigation. Although, we don't know how much easier it is for someone else to come in and continue where he left off in opening the door wider for the pirates. It's probably just a matter of…
@absolofdoom: I didn't ask them to hack the PS3 for me, why should I defend them? They knew exactly what they were doing and have to deal with the consequences themselves. It's called taking responsibility for ones own actions. People get sued all the time. They're going to have to deal with it. If they did nothing…
@djricekcn: Yeah, that's what I meant. Their actions indirectly contribute to piracy.
@ChaoticInfinityX: Hackers indirectly contribute to piracy, whether they want to or not. It's like unlocking all the gun racks for anyone to take guns. Some may be murderers, some may not. There's some causality there.
@ovejon: Hacking opens the door to piracy. See Exhibit A: the PSP.
I've had less dropped calls with AT&T than I've had in the past, and I've been a customer since they were Cingular. Their 3G data coverage leaves much to be desired in my area though. I always end up falling back to Edge in many cities from my commute between San Francisco and the South Bay. If Verizon offers better…
@plankton88: uh, do you read much? nowhere does it say they are going to charge you.
If they can turn a profit and still offer most of its core features for free, I'll be satisfied. Then they can just focus on offering its backlog of PS1 and PS2 games, new PSN games and start discounting more of their older games. It wasn't too long ago that they didn't even have discounted sales on games, so it's…
@pfernando27: The Entertainer
@PwnzasaurusRex: not too many year 2000 PCs would even be able to get passed the install, since they'd unlikely meet the minimum system requirements printed on the box.
This is something most people learn to live with on both consoles. FF XIII, Rage, GTA and RDR, Batman AA, Assassin's Creed, Bayonetta, Ghostbusters, etc. No one really notices the differences unless playing side-by-side on both consoles. Personally, it hasn't stopped me from enjoying any of those games (except Rage…
@Masquerade_Assassin: Xbox Live doesn't store much info. Much of it is stored on the client 360 consoles. Aside from the Marketplace, matchmaking servers that just establish handshakes for peer-to-peer sessions, and game stats, it doesn't need to process as much as an MMO does. It's an apples to oranges comparison.…
C'mon, it's obvious the guy was just about to give the other guy a noogie.
Interesting. I now a couple Outspark guys who work out of the San Francisco office. I've gotta ask them about this game.
@Jbrist: Exactly. DCUO isn't even the first superhero MMORPG to charge $15/mo. That award goes to City of Heroes by Cryptic.
