And you’re talking about Europe?

There is 300 vans that do under 30miles/day in my 100k residents city+surroundings, and I’m only counting the main courier companies.
With an inner city beat at DPD, I was averaging 56miles at 100 stops, and with ~6min/stop that’s a 12 hour shift with loading and unloading (10hrs+1for loa

According to Mercedes-Benz market research of cargo van drivers, the average daily mileage of a van in Europe is just around 60 miles...“it’s aimed primarily at businesses conducting multi-drop ‘last-mile’ deliveries in urban areas...

the article explains the market pretty well, you’re clearly not it.

It’s sad that hitchhiking and picking up hitchhikers is no longer safe

Better Call Small

I really don’t care for this at all.

Remember when he tried to fashion himself as a “Wartime president” what was that..2 months ago? What’s happening to that war now? That’s right, worse than ever yet he seems to have conveniently decided it’s not something he’s going to focus on anymore. Wartime president my ass.

Agreed, it was way out of line to call these officers “terrorists.” Say what you want about terrorists, but they are willing to strap a bomb to themselves and blow themselves to smithereens to back their beliefs and values. Without a big gun and an even bigger union backing them up, cops are basically pussies, just lik

I figured the person was run-over.... by the headline saying so. Someone run-over by a car doesn’t limp anywhere. Still unacceptable, and worthy of investigation, but this article is horrible at objectively portraying facts.

No mention of what crimes this person was being pursued for. Murder? Arson? Rape? Jay-walking? What?

How do you say a man bypassed a barrier closing a road being used for a protest, drove in violation of the speed limit, and didn’t intend harm?

It’s now being updated that he had to drive through a set of traffic barriers to do this.

“Gov. Tim Walz and Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington said Monday that it doesn’t appear that Vechirko intentionally drove on the highway or tried to cause harm.”

How far in advance does this professional driver not look? If I saw a wall of ANYTHING in the freeway half a mile ahead of me I’d slow the hell down and make sure I don’t plow into, say, a huge accident or a group of onlookers or a bunch of fire trucks or protesters or boxes or literally anything taking up that much

Not in jail:

Can someone explain how he did NOT SEE a massive crowd on the freeway, WELL ahead of time? More than enough time to stop well short of it and prevent his “danger” of being there. I’m not saying he went out looking to kill protesters, but how does driving through them become OK?

The trash? You’re an asshole.

How long before you come out of a store to find a petulant child sitting in it and a harrassed parent trying to find where to put the coins in?

I also was most interested in hearing about this dog
