A lot of doubt can go on in a victim’s mind after a rape. Also wanting to pretend it didn’t happen or trying to keep the peace with everyone and just ignore it. Getting raped by an acquaintance can be very very complicated.

As dark as this story is, that make me laugh.

Bad publicity but also everywhere people in positions of power are just idiots about how sexual assault works and how allegations should be handled. Women are never believed, men are seen as needing to be given a second chance, yada yada yada.
