They hire name actresses to bring in financing for the film. Unfortunately, as much as the film makes would love to hire a talented, physically appropriate actresses for roles they ‘have’ to hire a name, and most names have earned their status though being stunning and gorgeous and insanely talented.

Not at all. The trailer, as well as the characters, make a point of showing the ‘fat’ girl as an ugly loser because of her weight and then shows her thin self as beautiful, popular and happy. It’s saying “You can’t possibly be this, achieve this or do this unless you are thin.” That is the epitome of fat shaming.

Well, it depends. If you enjoy cheese then go for it. They are both so-bad-they’re-so-good. There are elements of both I loved and hated, but I ended both seasons being glad I watched.
