@ThePieHole: I'm not taking it literally; I'm showing the stupidity of the metaphor by using it as a metaphor. I am matching what I consider to be crappy hyperbole with what I consider to be both a. more nearly correct, and b. FUNNIER hyperbole. I think I'll just starting saying, "Dude, you're such a grammar Khmer

@ThePieHole: Also, you seem to believe that using the word "Nazi" to describe people who are, say, interested in correct punctuation is A-OK. But if I use the word "Nazi" to describe, you know, Nazis, then it's TERRIBLE and a MISUSE OF HISTORY. Alas, I fear we will never have a perfect meeting of minds on this issue.

@ThePieHole: If someone is stupid enough to call me a grammar Nazi, then I am going to try and SHAME THEM by talking about death camps and ovens. It is a form of humor known as sarcasm, not a disquisition on the historical facts of the German Third Reich.

@want-to-be-in-LA: If someone calls me a "grammar Nazi," I say, "No, because I didn't cremate 6 million Jews in my grammar oven." I think that you could use this (modified) in all situations as a suitable response to any non-Nazi use of the word "Nazi." For example, "I didn't force 10 million Jews, homosexuals,

@GreyCat: I reported both the item and the name, as hateful, profane, and profoundly sexist. Thanks for suggesting that we report it!

It's not just these practitioners who believe the whole "cold" idea. Many Russians still think that sitting on a cold surface will cause infertility. I think if it were that easy, it would be promoted as a form of birth control.

What everyone seems to be saying here is that women's bodies WERE put on this earth for other people as long as those people are babies. As a childless spinster, I still find that to be a fucked-up attitude.

@armadillo: You're right! Does Bill show up at ALL in the films?

@daisyhalfwit: Oh god, dying at your comment. I'm with you. Yay, authenticity! ;)

Can we ask ourselves why this is implying that DATING WOES are restricted to hetero women?

@brook: I agree! If the Higher Degree is enough to turn someone off, then thanks, you've saved me some time. The people (I enjoy how the article implies all lady lawyers are also hetero) that would want to to get to know you better will do so.

@keep_calm_and_carry_on: I had more girls at Williamsburg that knew what the gunpowder plot was BECAUSE of Felicity... it was amazing. Don't knock the gal! :)

@H: topical image is topical! Nice! :)

@Gnatalby: Absolutely well said. Are we really reverting to the "But everyone elseeeee shows them!" argument? Shouldn't we (esp if we are claiming those feminist leanings above regardless of whether or not editorship has abandoned them) be holding ourselves to a higher standard?

@megnificent: Oh god, dying. Hearted. So much love.

@keldo: SO glad I wasn't the only one that had this reaction first! I was like — but I read about when he was BORN.

@windupbird: I completely agree. Sometimes, it just sounds cheesy - but how do you explain being called, or led to a decision without using that language? Glad I'm not the only one that's gone "but it sounds sooo weird" :)

@scarylyon: Go to a specialty store! It'll change your life! (I'm a 38GG... so I feel you on odd sizes :P)

@rah29: Let me also join the band! Mmm...Bravissimo.

@itskristina: AND Bravissimo. Pain that they're all the way across the pond, but their catalog is like porn, with bras that fit me and that are sexy as HELL. Got one with just black lace and it's my sexiest bra AND my most comfortable one! :D
