Well, that’s a tough one. Comedy can be very personal, and if you don’t “get” Newhart that’s OK. I personally can’t stand Louis C.K. but I acknowledge that he’s very popular, and so my lack of interest is on me, not him.

If Uber drivers feel that they are not being paid enough, they should go somewhere else and work. At some point Uber will lose sufficient drivers so they will need to increase pay to lure more drivers back and make their service work.
Casey Chan’s posts should all be “hai guyz look what video i found today”. There’s not much more content than that.
2TB SSDs are still expensive, but 1TB SSDs are getting into the reasonable price range. They won’t be as cheap as spinny drives for a while, but they’re cheap enough and big enough for most uses now.
Honestly, battery life is the only factor I shop for these days. I just assume that all the rest will be sufficiently good.
There’s a dongle for that ;-)
I could deal with the one port to rule them all deal, if only Apple provided a proper dock. I’m not into dongle. Check out Microsoft’s solution:
You’re doing the Lord’s work.
Sam Jackson has been on AoS as Nick Fury... twice.
Isn’t Atlantis in the Bahamas? Or is there another one in Dubai?

I’m kind of OK with the one port model, but it needs a proper dock so that I can have all my toys when I’m at my desk. Have you seen the little dock that you can get for the Surface 4? It’s exquisite — one connection and it has like four USB ports, two minidisplayports, an ethernet connection, power (of course).…
How much power does it draw from the laptop? This can’t be that great for the MacBook’s battery life.
Brilliant. You click on the + magnifying glass, and it gets smaller. You win this one, internet.
Mostly, I agree with you. However, until they can figure out proper DRM I’ll still buy discs (or just abandon DRM altogether, the way the music industry did — I haven’t bought a CD in many years). I want to be able to purchase a movie and watch it on whatever device I choose — big TV, laptop, tablet, phone. I’m not…
Reasonable advice, but then you’re talking years until I can buy this.
Mittwoch?
Oh look another article about Alissa Walker hating on cars. Must be a day that ends in a “y”.
I got the “good” Comcast too. My internet never goes down, and has delivered as-advertised speeds whenever I speedtest it. Comcast has increased the bandwidth twice for me without me asking and without changing the price.
