A ‘smart’ person (to follow the terminology of the article) would sell the BTC, take profits in USD, and invest those USD elsewhere.A ‘dumb’ person would hold the BTC indefinitely, hoping for an infinite theoretical gain…

Bitcoin is currently useful for semi-anonymously buying other currencies. That’s it. The only reason people will buy your Bitcoins from you, or sell you drugs in exchange for your Bitcoins, is because they have faith they can exchange those Bitcoins for “real physical currencies”.

When the dollar collapses, you’ll be able to use Bitcoin to buy a) drugs or b) Chinese Renminbi.

That’s one of the hallmarks of the fascist - a perverse inclination to cast themselves as victims (of racial or ethnic minorities, or a certain industry or foreign economic competition).
