Your ‘dual bell curve’ is pretty absurd when you place it in the context of the prison ecosystem - a place where humans fall back on their most primal survival instincts and brutal animal behaviors.
“groped and taunted by other prisoners and correctional officers”
The sad thing is those of us who can afford to buy plums, or hardcover books (used), or sometimes splurge on Gentleman Jack instead of the bottom-shelf liquor, are probably going to get lumped in with the multi-billionaires when the bloody revolution happens.
What’s the cure? Your shitty attitude? being a generally unpleasant person? Being dismissive toward people with rational arguments?
Yeah. Their woes are pretty stale at this point. More fresh and compelling? Adventures of unhappily married women (discovering themselves).
So you have elections on weekends, but won’t do road work at night ;)
The risk is increased for very young father, and even more increased for very old fathers. Dudes in their mid 20s to early 40s are fine.
Yeah. Of course, one thing that made this vote easier was the fact that eligible voters got their ballots in the mail. It wasn’t some deal where you had to take time off work and stand in line at local voting stations.

If you’re in your 40s / 50s and subsist exclusively on frozen meals eaten alongside your cat(s) because you can’t cook and don’t know anyone who can / will cook for you, I’d call that crushing loneliness, regardless of your gender.
This was an awesome science fiction short story from a few years back, published in Subterranean Magazine — African Sunrise. Ethiopian culture and cuisine flavors (heh heh, get it?) the story, which is itself really cool.
Where else can you buy matching bathroom / kitchen / bedroom linens and a massive variety of ‘personal shiatsu massage wands’?
