I’m curious to see how we handle a ‘public health emergency’. Is it by shifting resources into research, harm minimization, and prevention? or is it by directing our increasingly militarized law enforcement to harrass, abuse, incarcerate, and murder more and more people (along racial / socioeconomic lines)?
