I started playing it last night. I think I’ve only played DS1 for about 20 mins before I got bored/annoyed and that was maybe a decade ago. I definitely appreciate the game style/mechanics, particularly watching someone who knows what they are doing but never thought I’d really attempt. That said I’ve always enjoyed…

why?? These are all playable character from the original. It is only missing Cid which I’m guessing they are keeping him for the last game.

I had (mostly) a blast with both Surge games. Maybe LotF2 will do it for you.

I must be in the extreme minority based on numbers, but I’ve massively cooled on Nintendo, and I wish I could play the small handful of excellent first party games on other platforms, because, to me, there is nothing else compelling about the Switch. Over the years I’ve found that:

Yeah, nothing against these shows, they are great. But it goes to show how much voting bodies still prefer content that revolves around privileged, (mostly) white people.

I don’t think this instance is a 1:1 comparison. Studios are actually asking “can we have computers write scripts instead of people?” and are actively courting writers to revise ai-written scripts.

Every time I see someone impressed by “AI” “art”, it’s inevitably the most brain dead, uncreative person imaginable.
