Oil sands is $60/barrel minimum..........at least it was 3 yrs ago when I left that industry in Canada. Projects were culled in 2009 when the price tanked and they have been again.

Completely agree. It’s a cool idea that, at present, is not feasible for large scale use on a road network. It has definite possibilities for small scale usage right now though.

It’s exactly the same here, except they allow you to buy their boxes. The general perception here is that we get shafted on many things, especially the cost of cable, internet & cell phones, so it’s nice to see we have an advantage for once.

You can buy them here in Canadia and I had no problem when I bought a PVR on Craigslist. Prices vary massively thought, my cable provider’s PVR’s are around $100 and the STB’s $60ish. The other supplier in the area charges $350 for their PVR’s.
