With difficulty I guess

Correct

It’s quintessentially British. No reverse gear, you just spin the wheel round like you would a dodgem.

The Reliant was the luxury 3 wheeler. The first car I ever travelled, aged 18 months ish, in was a Bond similar to the one below. The wheels are tiny and you had to start it by opening the hood and using a kickstart (650cc BSA single).

Agreed, it works well in my CX-5

So basically a riff on the new Muppets program

Looks great to me, equally as good as the one designed for the 125th anniversary

In other news water is wet

Angle over would be acceptable but lean down not. The boat is not leaning down, it is leaning over. At no point is the boat being bent into a curve or an angle (although the mast will be bending a little due to the inherent flexibility of said mast).

If I was being pedantic I would point out the technical term for what the boat is doing. I’m merely pointing out that the sentence doesn’t make sense because the wrong word is being used to describe what is happening to the boat.

Yes, because the boat is not bending.

I tip my hat to you. Not only do some people commenting here not understand the meaning of bend they also don’t understand the definition of pedantic.

Fullback is a football position

That guy who just woke up, hence the time delay.

Very true but as a non-sailor I’m unaware of the correct technical terminology

No, I’m one of those people who understand the meaning of bend and lean. The boat is leaning diagonally not bendibendi

Just looked outside and there is to much rain for the world to burn.

A little

I didn’t even notice, minor dyslexia type thing, but now you point it out. Fucking hope Casey Chan gets a shitty annual review. Professional Writer is a job title he doesn’t deserve.
