Agreed. Some cities are better than others, Calgary & Vancouver both have extensive bike path networks. As I’ve stated elsewhere in this thread Motorists > Bikes > Pedestrians but my point is that cyclists cry foul and yet they can be just as guilty as motorists.

In other news, the sky is blue and shit stinks.

How wrong you are..............

Yes, many many times. And you’ve got it! Cyclists bitch and moan about their treatment by motorists, which in many cases is justified, and yet treat pedestrian the same way.

Unlikely, i take transit to work. Now, if you rode through a pedestrian crossing as I was crossing I might call you an ignorant that. Same as I would if a driver tried to do the same.

Apparently so, it was unintentional but amusing.

Very true. But you see less dickish behaviour my motorists in pedestrian heavy areas. Many cyclists treat pedestrians like many motorists treat cyclists.

I think you’ve nailed it in the head. If it was even remotely safe I might consider it, but then again I’m quite lazy.

I’m an idealist, what can I say?!

There is plenty of bike-centric infrastructure here in Vancouver, I’m a big fan. What I’m not a fan of is those cyclist who still ride aggressively, with scant regard for pedestrians and the law.

The world would be a much nicer place without the arseholes of this world. SUV arseholes or cyclist arseholes are still arseholes, there is no distinction.

I SeeeQL what you did there

I’m not mad at all, just done my BP and its sitting pretty at 120/80. I just find it a foolish solution when simply enforcing the law should suffice. It’s a bit like the urban myth that has NASA spending huge sums designing a pen that works upside down for the space program and all the Soviet’s did was to use pencils.

It you don’t understand my point so your posts are nonsense. Let me simplify it for your intellect.

You’ve almost grasped it, well done. Dial it back a little though and you might finally understand.

Incapable not invariable

As you’ve not ridden a bike in traffic your comment is invalid

That’s more like it. Some excellent thought was put that post. But still you failed to grasp crux of my argument. C-

I’m not trying to get a rise, merely saying that riding a bike is fun.
