You need something easier to play to get her into it. I started my daughter out on Flower on the PS3 as its very simple to control. Moved onto 2D platformers and then onto various Lego type games on the PS4. She, now aged 8, are playing Lara Croft Temple of Osiris which is by far the hardest game she has played.
