I never had one but did have a mk1 Skoda Octavia vRS which is the same platform. I absolutely loved that thing! Fast, pretty good on gas, a great sleeper and reliable. It got hit by an issue with its turbo at around 40k, which the 1.8T engine is susceptible too and had to have the cambelt change earlier than scheduled

I thought it was the Mexican built ones that have a poor reptuation?

It could well be. I’ve just got some sports glasses that aren’t progressive so I’ll try those and see if it makes a difference. Never had a problem when wearing glasses before but then I’d not had progressive before. After over 30 yrs of gaming it pissed me off.

Wow yeh that is mad! It’s only in the past 18 months or so that I’ve been effected, I’m a little more than in my mid-20’s though which is why I thought about age. Could also be my glasses as I changed to progressive lenses around the same time.

Doesn’t help........even playing Gran Tourismo in cockpit mode still gives me motion sickness. Not sure if its an age thing as it never used to happen.

I’d love to play it but FPS games make me feel sick

As its in the UK I would suggest ‘class envy’ is more relevant than the race element.

Because many many cars are so poorly maintained that a high mileage vehicle very soon turns into a money pit. Yes it can happen with lower mileage vehicles but the chances are significantly slimmer.

Chat is the reason why I rarely play online games and I’m certainly not a teenage girl. I want to play the game, not hear a bunch of 14 yr olds telling mom jokes.

Let’s take moment to remember the delightful Tatra, with its glorious rear mounted aircooled V8, that ran into Inoue.

I’m sure this car has been featured on Jalopnik before, not as a NPOCP just for the weird combination of airbrushed panther and plastic french sports car.

That brings back fond memories of watching them race on BBC Grandstand with my Dad.

I had an earlier Megane and it had plastic body panels, I’m guessing that the model pictured here has them too. Factoring in that its an article in from the Daily HateMail, the cradle of English racism, I call bullshit on this as the body panels would be melting as well.

Careful, the FF is bearing is fangs at you

I’ve experienced several landings such as this when landing at YYC. The winds coming off the Rockies can get pretty gnarly.

Fluids definitely. I too suffer and can almost guarantee that I will need a piss 10 minutes into any vehicular based journey.

Looks like a De Tomaso Mangusta with broken suspension

Ah Panther Cars, a case of crazy and never reaching their full potential.

Papa, why did you leave? Why don’t you return my calls? Papa?!

Kia weren’t particularly award winning at the time of the Rondo’s release. It hailed from the period just before they hired Peter Schreyer as Head of Design.
