I disagree, in England most people (unless UKIP party members) would describe themselves as British first but Scots/Welsh/Irish would more than likely make the distinction. When it comes to sport its a different matter.

I flew into LGA and out of Newark back in May. Admittedly I’ve only ever flown into LGA so haven’t had the delight of departures. When I flew out of Newark this time I swear there wasn’t a seat at the departure gate that wasn’t so worn out that the stitching had split.

I’d have to agree that Newark is nicer than JFK but only just. Both are horrific places to land after even an 40 minute flight let alone a trans-atlantic one!
