Cool, I'm visiting in a couple of weeks

I'm a fan of crappy Soviet era cars, they have a rugged simplistic charm. Probably due to the fact that the first brand new car my parents bought was a Skoda Estelle 120L.

Haha, yeah a slight tangent!

Compared to most US compacts it is efficient and there is far more choice in Europe. I've never seen a huge amount of Smarts in the UK, there are many slightly larger cars that have economy that is just as good, if not better. For example a VW Polo Blue Motion is not much big, can take four adults easily, has a

I just rented a BMW 116d M Sport in the UK for two weeks, 67mpg in something larger than a Smart but still small enough to negotiate rural roads, took 3 peoples luggage and is a blast to drive. Something as small as a Smart should be far more economical than 42mpg.

Don't get me wrong, I love small cars but the Smart is shockingly bad. Awful economy, slow, noisy and that gearbox should have been killed at birth. I drive them quite a lot, Car 2 Go is very handy, but I can manage about 20 minutes in them at the most.

Really? It would only work as a horror story, as the Smart is truly horrific to drive.

It's aged pretty well and considering it's the same platform as the Saab 900/9-3 they weren't bad to drive

That Lambo wasn't the same as this Lambo though, back then it was Chrysler owned (I think)

And yet they are selling shit loads of them

A lack of time prevented me from being more creative

Meh

Takes one to know one ;)

Not sure if Stewart Lee would go down in mainstream USA, but he is fucking funny. Very much a comedians comedian.

True, most Europeans should though

True, but I can also think of the Ukraine and the Congo as two more. But that doesn't really excuse why the clarification was required, in my view.

Considering many American's don't know where Australia is, I'd say the clarification of which 'Hague' (not William) is valid but could do with some extra information to point out why 'The Hague' is of importance.

Petrolicious for its beautifully shot, interesting videos, I love the mix of interesting cars and their owners. XCar has the same production qualities but is more focused on the cars and has reviews.

Correct spelling and yes he did, he honed the handling characteristics testing it for Honda at the Nurburgring

I prefer the Honda version
