Yeah, those fights can be really easy to lose, even if you weren't aware you were fighting.

Reminds me of a (very NSFW) comic:

Yeah, only thing I can think of would be if age seemed important to him so she felt like she had to lie until now. But 18-20? I don't see the big deal.

I'd think going off his meds, cutting social ties and sleeping 15 hours a day just by themselves would be a clue that he needs more than just passive tolerance. He needs some help. Compassion and understanding, but help.

DDD: "I'm getting so laid nonstop and I'm the king of fucking and isn't it great or should I worry about it and I'm totally not 22, virginal and living in my mom's basement: I am the Cockmaster!"

Wow, if they had a skin contest for zombies, she'd win.

I did see that promo and thought "is it sweeps week already - do they even still have those- either way I won't be watching". Just an awful advertisement.

He seems to be targeting really old guys, so we can probably use that to narrow down his possible next victim.

I like how "Divorcee" is a profession.

This seems to have a good chance of being less interesting than its title.

Sure, but since they seem to come from the same place (justifying lazy racism on the public's presumed fear of minorities on screen in meaningful roles), it's like two fingers on the same hand.

I get what she's saying about how taking pieces out of context is a problem, and it often us, but I'm curious what " taking their awards out of context" means. Specifically, the 'awards' part.

And what is that reason, just for completeness?

Yeah, it's hard to tell is this is the usual racism or just asshole-Christian "if it's fun it's bad" shit.

Since the merger. They were pretty good in the 1950s.

OK (it was like 35 years ago). I do remember not liking the ending, but maybe the reasons have been lost to the ages.

Hey, the Browns and Lions have that skill too!

Pretty sure those aren't exclusive.

It was a long time ago (though I did read the next book and I'm pretty sure the ending was also the same) but IIRC it was this "love defeats robot" thing that to preteen me felt precious and contrived. I'm pretty sure an AI could figure out love quite easily; we're just not that complicated.

"Write what you have at least some idea about?"
