Personally I really enjoyed the 48fps version. But I don't see it catching on with the general public at all. I do hope they wind up releasing a version on Blu-Ray with the high-frame rate in 2D.

saw the 48fps 3D showing last night. Personally, I liked it. Took me all of 20 minutes to get used to it, but after that I really loved the smoothness of the pictures.
FYI, it sadly is NOT iPad optimized.

I think it's also worth noting that you can get the Spring 2012 model starting at $379 now from Apple's refurb department.
Was considering selling off my iPad 2 to get a mini depending on the specs and price. If it had a better processor or a lower price, I might consider it. But the internals are exactly the same as the iPad 2, just more portable. I'll pass.
